The term paracentral lobule refers to the junction of the precentral gyrus (PRG) and postcentral gyrus (POG) on the medial surface of the cerebral cortex (CTX). It lies across the boundary between the frontal lobe (FLB) and the parietal lobe (PLB) ( Carpenter-1983 ). Updated 21 Aug 2024.
