vomeronasal-terminal nerve complex

The term vomeronasal-terminal nerve complex refers to neural connections of the vomeronasal organ from the nasal cavity to the accessory olfactory bulb at the base of the cranial cavity. It has two components, the vomeronasal nerve and the terminal nerve, which are highly intertwined through part of their course ( Moran-1995 ).
