septomarginal tract
Acronym:
The term septomarginal tract refers to the middle subdivision of the descending branches of the dorsal root fibers. It is located near the posterior median sulcus of the spinal cord in the lumbar segments ( Anthoney-1994 ). The other subdivisions are the semilunar tract in the cervical segments and thoracic segments and the tract of Phillippe-Gombault in the sacral segments ( Carpenter-1983 ).
