intermediate visual cortex

The term intermediate visual cortex refers to a region of visual cortex located in the occipital lobe and posterior areas of the temporal lobe and parietal lobe in the human and the macaque. Defined on the basis of multiple criteria it includes the ventral stream cortex, dorsal stream cortex, and MT+ cortex ( Glasser-2016 ).
